some of the long lasting and far reaching effects of sandy i know you did extensive reporting on the election and how people were saying that was affecting the voting outcome bear and now even court evidence that's right liz i mean it's just been really crazy to witness how much of an impact sandy has had on people's lives and you know right now as we speak here in new york city alone about two hundred buildings are being talked about being demolished because they've been ruined to an extent where they can't be used by families anymore we know that the future of hundreds of other homes is still up in the air and of course you know reports are saying that thousands of people you know with their families have filed for help with the government to try to be able to get some sort of help with housing in new jersey there are still tent cities around where people are taking taking you know getting a roof over their heads in this in these cold months so certainly you know just crazy consequences the donations we've been seeing coming from all over the united states specifically to the tri state area
